Mrs. Foley has been in education since 2004 after graduating from Methodist University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. After teaching in Baltimore County MD for 3 years, she moved to Fayetteville NC where she taught in both Cumberland County and Hoke County. In 2013, Mrs. Foley graduated from Fayetteville State University with her Masters in School Administration. She was an instructional coach and assistant principal in Hoke County prior to moving into the role of Principal at Sandy Grove Elementary School in Hoke County in 2016. During her time at Sandy Grove, the school met or exceeded growth each year.
Mrs. Foley is mom to three children. Drake attends the University of Oklahoma, Lillian is a middle school student, and Oliver is a 1st grader. She has been married to her husband, Michael, for 20 years.
She recognizes the importance of developing strong character, social-emotional well being and academics in each and every one of our students. This is the way to build future leaders who will impact our world. She joins the staff in being dedicated to the success of each child and being relentless in doing whatever it takes to help our students to be successful in school and in life. We know that parents are always the child’s first teachers as we work together building partnerships that are effective and lasting. Mrs. Foley is excited to join the Mighty Mustangs and continue the growth towards high student achievement and being globally minded.
