Forest Hills is a 2025 North Carolina School of Distinction in Closing the Achievement Gap!
We finished in the Top 5 in the state!!
Forest Hills also finished in the Top 3% in Student Math Growth (grades 3,4,5) in the whole state of North Carolina!!
ATTENDANCE COUNTS
Dear Parents & Students:
Now that school is underway, we wanted to remind you that attendance is a critical component of being a successful student. We need students present at school every day and on time. Excessive absences and tardies may affect a child's learning and their ability to be successful. Studies have shown students that miss instruction and are excessively tardy are more likely to perform poorly in school.
If your child must be absent, please email/DOJO your teacher as soon as possible to let her know. The North Carolina Compulsory Attendance Law requires that absences be recorded as excused or unexcused.
